Advanced Recovery Systems is an inpatient behavioral healthcare company that treats adolescents and adults struggling with addiction, substance abuse and mental health in centers across the country. We are always looking for the best possible options for our patients and I think you would be a great option for our clients. Would ____ at ___ work for you? |
(Email 2 - send after 2-3 days with no contact) Name, I’m following up on my previous email to see if you are accepting new clients at this time? I’m looking forward to learning more about you so that we can send referrals to your practice. In addition to working with our case managers, we also are placing individuals that are calling in to our intake department that we can’t accept. I know how valuable your time is, so I wanted to see if ____ at ____ works for a 15-30 minute meeting? Best, ______ |
Matt,
I met your brother, Adam, at his Nurse Anesthesia graduation celebration. I was telling him how I work emergency departments in the area as the Community Outreach Director for Orlando Recovery Center, and he mentioned that you’re the manager for Florida Hospital South’s ED. One of my previous coworkers that serviced your location recently moved to a different organization, so I wanted to make sure I could introduce myself to you and anyone on your team that we could be a resource for. We provide substance abuse/alcohol detox and treatment programs, and my coworker, Jenn Russo, and I are available to expedite the referral process. We’re going to be near Florida Hospital South around 3pm today. Can we try to catch you around that time for 5 minutes for a quick introduction? Good morning Jennifer,
I was reviewing your website in search of discharge resources for our clients and I noticed that we could work well together in offering our clients a full continuum of care. I am with the Recovery Village of Columbus, Ohio, a residential treatment facility for adults who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Would you have a few minutes on the 22nd to meet? Best, ____ |
Good afternoon HR Director Name,
My name is Allison Walsh, and I’m the Vice President of Business Development for Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS), a behavioral healthcare company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health issues for adults and adolescents.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of assisting employers when their employees, or their family members, who are struggling with substance abuse or addiction issues. The magnitude of addiction and the effect it has on the workplace is startling, but we work side-by-side with small and large organizations to get their employees help and back to work.
According to the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, drug abuse costs employers around $81 billion each year. Because over 70% of those struggling maintain employment, it’s important to be aware of the warning signs and symptoms of substance abuse.
Some of these include poor performance, impaired judgement and decision-making and increased absence. If an employee is under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the workplace, there is also a higher probability of injuries and fatalities.
Raising awareness about addiction treatment programs available for employees can reduce the cost of drug addiction for your company in the long run, not to mention help to save and improve lives. When someone has the chance to begin the life-changing process of recovery, you give them an opportunity to get healthy, start over and regain control of their life.
With this is mind, I’d like to discuss with you the options we have available for treatment and the easy process we have in place to assist not only the employer, but the employee and their family members as well. It’s our goal to get them well, back to work sober, and with a support network in place for them for the future.
I’m available next week to discuss addiction in the workplace, prevention and intervention tactics. I look forward to sharing with you further how we’ve been able to work with employers and EAPs to get their employees and their families healthy again.
Sincerely,
Allison Walsh

ATTORNEY OUTREACH:
Subject: Criminal Defense Committee
Hi Mr. Barber,
I hope this email finds you doing well. I'm reaching out today because I'm working to identify attorneys in _____ that could be good options for us to refer our clients to for legal services.
Advanced Recovery Systems is a behavioral healthcare provider focused on the treatment of addiction and substance abuse for adults and adolescents. While we are a national company, we have multiple locations in Central Florida.
I wanted to see if I could schedule a time to discuss the criminal defense committee through the OCBA? I would love to be able to provide the contact information of quality attorneys for our clients who need representation and don’t already have someone to assist them. I thought this might be a good opportunity for the criminal defense committee members but I am not sure what the best next steps are? Advanced Recovery Systems often works closely with criminal defense attorneys when their clients need addiction or substance abuse treatment services.
Would it be possible to speak for a few minutes next week?
Thanks in advance,
Allison
