It's important to recognize and understand your book size requirements as a director. Taking on team members requires  a considerable amount of time, energy and effort. We need directors to continue to be individual contributors and manage their teams, but we fully understand and expect that a manageable book of business will decrease as each team grows.

Please use the chart below as a guideline for your book management. The base book size includes your active + development accounts. If there is a legitimate reason for these to be lower, it will require approval from Allison.
